its been a while since my last post. so much has been going on and pardon the stupid post subject, lately all i seem to do is work my butt off. this week is the royal wedding and news and media coverage is just insane and we have so many bank holidays off during this week, so i used this time to redecorate my bedroom. so far everything is out of the room and placed in the dining room. i shall be taking up the carpet and sanding and varnishing the flooring and painting the walls a lovely cream, chocolate and red.

and i've been working inbetween the bank holidays aswell, i'm treating myself to a PS3 when i get paid.
Lately while having no computer i've had time to catch up on my tv shows, 90210, Dexter and The Vampire Diaries. two shows i completely adore. i'm falling in love with Jessica Stroup again (I also love the name Erin) and i'm loving the story line in Vampire Diaries.

my lovely brother Ryan got engaged. so congrats to him. :)
i feel like i never talk to anyone anymore. but thats about to change. this weekend on the 1st, is my cousins 3rd birthday, we are all gathering in Leazes Park for a BBQ. on monday I'm seeing some friends for food and drinks and same again on wednesday but with a different friend.
my social life is saying hello once more.

my mother has been solving cold cases, maybes when my computer is fixed and i have a little more time, i might decide to help out with some of these cold cases.

I need to kick start a new healthy diet. i need to lose some weight, i'm pretty much needing to re-vamp myself. eat more fruit and veggys and just excerise more, eat less. i need to do this for me.

also i adore Nina Dobrov ( Elena  Gilbert/Kathrine Pierce - Vampire DIaries) hair, possible future wedding hairdo right there for me. ;)

I had my job interview this morning, i woke up at 7.45am, and straightened my hair (as you can see), slapped on some foundation and mascara, picked out my necklace and my smart casual outfit, took a photo and by 8.45am I had a fuss over my trousers because they wouldn't fit so i threw them across the room in a huff and stuck on another black pair of trousers. I got a taxi to the Cobolt Business Park and got there for 9.20am, I had 10 mins to spare of waiting around. Observing the people passing by, smelling the cups of tea, two women were drinking beside me, it was strange, this new alien place to me.

Finally a woman came down to see me, her name is Rachel and i would later find out she is the one who will be training me. She took me to the second floor where there was a lovely display of large origami cranes. I was shown into a room, I met Alison and the Manager of Highways. They were both lovely and i answered the questions they ask, honestly and nicely. I made them laugh a few times which relaxed me even more. by this time any nerves had gone.

I was asked to sit outside for a little bit, and i took a photo of the birds hanging from the ceiling, i got asked back in and they told me they would love to have me and when i could start, i said "any time you would like to have me" and naturally he said "this monday" my mouth was open in a little surprised shocked about how soon they wanted me, i smiled and said yes!, which means i have to wait a month for money! Argh, because i wont be getting my jobseekers allowance next week. so i'm broke until payday.

rachel lead me out and she was so happy another girl would be taken under her wing as she told me its only her and a few lads in her department. >.<
I have to answer phones about people who are angry at potholes in the road and stuff like that, i'd proberly just be filing, using excel and making cups of tea for the first week to settle me into the routine. I get my own workspace which i hope i can pretty up alittle bit with photos etc.
Monday is my induction day, so Rachel will be showing me around and introducing me to new people. i'm always nervous about meeting new people, i find it hard to talk to them so hopefully i'll get use to it.
my first job. i'm scared and excited. its only for 6 months.. but its something to do. :)

then i came home and won £10 on a scratch card and momma bought me some new work clothes :D
